Beyond Core Competencies
for Managers and Supervisors
Please note: We offer "Beyond Core Competencies for CHC Managers and Supervisors" focused specifically for FQHCs and other CHCs, and "Beyond Core Competencies for Managers and Supervisors" focused for other mission-driven organizations.

This “deeper-dive” skill-building program for more experienced managers moves beyond the core competencies required to effectively manage and supervise your team, and delves into higher-level areas of knowledge, practices and skills needed to be a great manager or supervisor and elevate your management impact.

The “Beyond Core” program is recommended for managers and supervisors with at least 18 months of experience OR as a follow-up to the Sogence training, “Core Competencies for Managers and Supervisor at All Levels.”
Participants Learn to:
• Lead and manage change (in even the most challenging times).
• De-escalate and resolve conflict.
• Implement key decision-making practices.
• Gain or strengthen Behavioral Interviewing skills to hire the right employees for long-term success.
• Develop and retain motivated, accountable and results-driven teams.
